Elise Visco

Ms. Visco is a skilled family law practitioner. Her practice focuses on complex matrimonial matters, representing clients in contested divorces involving substantial assets and in complicated custody disputes. Ms. Visco strives to achieve thoughtful resolutions for her clients, both in and out of court. She has been selected by Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in Family Law in 2027.

Prior to Cohen Clair, Ms. Visco practiced in Toronto, Canada, where she litigated high-net-worth matrimonial matters at all levels of court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. Ms. Visco received a B.Sc., with distinction, from the University of Guelph and her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, one of the oldest and best regarded law schools in Canada.

Ms. Visco is admitted to practice in New York and Ontario, Canada. She serves on the Board of Directors for FamilyKind and is a member of the New York Women’s Bar Association. She lives in Manhattan with her husband.
